TERMS AND CONDITIONS
RESERVATIONS
Reservations can
be made up to 2 years in advance. You should reserve your space as
soon as possible to secure the trip date most desired. Reservations
may be made by phone or email and will be confirmed upon receipt of
the required deposit. Please appreciate that our deposit and
cancellation policies are necessary due to our extremely short
season and the nature of our high quality, low volume facility.
DEPOSITS
We accept
checks, Master Card and Visa.
50% deposit
ensures your choice of dates. Balance is due 60 days prior to your
arrival.
Reservations
made within 60 days of arrival must be guaranteed with Visa or
Master Card immediately after receiving verbal confirmation from our
office. Late payments may result in releasing your reservation.
You will need to re-book which may result in your preferred date not
being available.
CANCELLATIONS
Deposits and
Payments for trip costs are non-refundable. If needing to make a
cancellation you may rebook for an alternate year, Canceling party
may refill the vacancy or ALAR may rebook vacancy. In all instances
the canceling party will be held responsible for a $250.00 rebooking
fee. No Exceptions.
Non-appearance
for excursions will result in no refund. No refunds will be made on
individual features voluntarily omitted by the guest. No refunds
for unused services will be issued.
We strongly
suggest purchasing Travel Insurance. As a precautionary measure and
given our guest's reserve up to 2 years in advance, we suggest trip
insurance to help defray unfortunate expenses due to illness or
other extraordinary situations that require you to cancel your trip
after your payment. It also can help defray any out of pocket
expenses due to weather or other unforeseen conditions that prevent
you from getting to Alaska Legends.

OF LIABILITIES
Alaska Legends
Adventure Resort reserves the right to make changes and alterations
as may be necessary or safety and proper handling of trips. We
spare no effort to assure a safe trip; however, outdoor activities
of this nature are not entirely 'risk free'. We cannot assume
responsibility for injury to participants or personal belongings or
for time or expense incurred. You will be required to fill out an
acknowledgment of risk form. Upon advancement of deposit to Alaska
Legends Adventure Resort, the depositor agrees to be bound by all of
the above. Alaska Legends Adventure Resort is not responsible for
cost of delays resulting from weather, poor flying conditions or
acts of God.
CHECK IN AND
CHECK OUT
Check in for
self-transporting guests is 2:00pm, Check out 10:00am
Pick up for
guests arriving at Kenai Peninsula airports is anytime after 2:00pm,
Last Shuttle leaving for Kenai Peninsula airports is 10:00am.
COMMUTER AND
CHARTER POLICY
If Alaska
Legends is arranging charter transportation from Anchorage to area
airports, please make sure you have your flight itinerary to your
reservationist so they may schedule your charter down. Once your
flight information is received by Alaska Legends, your printed
flight itinerary for your charter will be sent via postal service,
fax or email. If continuing directly to Kenai by commuter airline
(Era Aviation), you may check your baggage to your final destination
of Kenai. Please present printed itinerary upon check in at your
departure city if you would like your baggage checked through. Once
charter reservations are made, fees will be assessed for any changes
or cancellations. Alaska Legends will make every effort to
accommodate your flight itinerary with the most convenient charter
to the peninsula. The sooner your reservationist receives your
flight itinerary the more flight options and availability.
For guests
making their own charter arrangements or arriving by private plane,
please have your arrival times and destinations for pick up to your
reservationist at least 4 weeks prior to arrival. Local airstrip
and airport information is available through your reservationist
upon request.
Scheduling for
Private Charter by Alaska Legends to arrive Soldotna Airport or
Browns Lake must be done 6 weeks prior to arrival date to ensure
availability. Scheduling made later than 6 weeks prior to arrival
may result in additional fees and/or charges.
PROCESSING AND SHIPPING OF CATCH
Your catch will be cleaned and then transported
for processing at Ed’s Kasilof Seafoods. You will have your choice
of type of processing and transport home. These charges are not
included in package processing.
