Option A

Saturday Day 1:  Welcome to Alaska!  You begin your stay with your arrival in Anchorage and overnight stay in Anchorage.  You will be on your own for meals today-make sure to check out 'our where to dine in Anchorage' page on our web site for suggestions.

Sunday Day 2:  BREATHTAKING PANORAMAS AWAIT as you enjoy the sights of your scenic motor coach drive along Turnagain Arm through the Chugach and Kenai Mountains and on down to Homer, where you will be staying at a beautiful Homer Hotel.

Monday Day 3:  BIRDS, HALIBUT, OR BOARDWALKS!   Today you will be picked up in the morning and then off for a day of excitement. You will have the opportunity to choose from your choice of a Halibut Charter, a day trip to Seldovia, or a bird watching trip to Otter Cove.  The choice is yours and each member of your party need not take the same excursion.  While waiting for your motor coach back to Alaska Legends why not take in the unique sites of the Homer Spit, the end of the coastal road system of North America. On your way back to the lodge look to your left for views of the Alaska Range and our 4 active volcanoes, Mt Redoubt directly across, Mt. Iliamna and Mt. Spur to the north, and seen on very clear days Mt Augustine way to the south.

Tuesday Day 4   FISH ON!  We hope you'll be saying this frequently on your 1^st day on the river. Our seasoned guides will determine which rivers we set out for based on what the fisheries are doing.  Don't worry about going hungry; your boat will be well equipped with a full lunch and beverages of choice.

Wednesday Day 5  SOARING HIGH!  This is your chance, along with one other person, to experience the thrill of a float plane soaring over breathtaking panoramas with your pilot/guide.  You both want to forget your camera on this day. Choose to view the magnificent brown bear in his natural habitat, fish remote streams, or why not do both?  During certain time of the season, experience the excitement of fishing right along side of the awe-inspiring animals on land.  Again you will return to the lodge for an evening of cocktails, tall tales, and an expertly prepared dinner.

Thursday Day 6   You've heard about the majesty of Denali, now it's your chance, along with one other person, to get a birds eye view of one of Alaska's Wonders.  This 3-hour excursion with your pilot/guide is complete with a landing.  If you're the kind of person who just can't sit still, choose an optional ¹/₂ day excursion to fill in your day.

Friday Day 7  Lace up your hiking boOts!  After another hearty breakfast, we are off to Cooper Landing for a day of hiking and mountain biking.  The time of year, weather, and trail conditions will determine the trail system.  A Scenic River Float Trip may be chosen to replace the mountain biking if so desired.  Tonight might be the night to have a soak in the hot tub or schedule an appointment with our message therapist to revive those tired limbs after the hard play they have done.

Saturday Day 8   VIEW THE 10^TH WONDER OF THE WORLD!  To start the last day of your Kenai Safari we will drive along Alaska's only Scenic Byway to Seward.  Once in Seward, you will experience Whales, Sea Otters, Sea Lions, Dalls Porpoise, puffins, and Calving Glaciers aboard your Kenai Fjords Tour.  After docking back in Seward you will board the Alaska Railroad for your scenic and leisurely ride back to Anchorage. (Dinner is available on the train, but not provided by Alaska Legends.)
