WHAT TO BRING
This package is
designed with the
fly-fisherman
in mind. Everyday you will experience a
new location with seasoned guides
sharing their fly-fishing secrets. No
need for you to be an experienced
angler, our guides are here for you.
Please remember
that fishing is a sport and as such we
can not guarantee you fish.
You will
arrive on a Monday with your fishing
trips beginning on Tuesday and continue
to fish hard until Saturday. Every
evening you will return to the lodge for
a delectable meal prepared by one of our
own talented chefs. The locals will be
determined as your arrival date gets
closer in order to ensure the most
successful experience possible.
Monday Day 1: Welcome to Alaska!
Once
in Anchorage, anytime after 3:30 pm you
will hop on the 30-minute scenic Air
Transfer to 'Alaska's Playground', the
Kenai Peninsula.
After landing in Kenai, you will be
transported via a scenic drive to Alaska
Legends where you will be greeted with
cocktails and appetizers while you await
your dinner being prepared by one of our
chefs.
Tuesday Day 2: FISH ON!
We hope you'll be saying this frequently
on your 1st day on the river.
Our seasoned guides will determine which
rivers we set out for based on what the
fisheries are doing. Don't worry about
going hungry; your boat will be well
equipped with a full lunch and beverages
of choice.
Wednesday Day 3
Bring your Camera and
Pole,
it's time to
fly across the
inlet and fish-fish-fish!
Enjoy an exciting and breathtaking float
plane ride as you are transported to
your remote fishing grounds. Again the
time of the year and the runs will
determine location and species.
You may even be fishing along side the
local brown bears.
Thursday Day 4 ON THE RIVER
AGAIN! Today
is your 2nd chance on the
River
to bag that monster King Salmon. Limit
out on the acrobatic Coho's, or play with
the never ending supply of Rainbows and
Dolly Varden. If you don't get enough
on the river, hit the banks at the lodge
and pull in your limit of sockeye.
Friday Day 5
SOARING
HIGH! This is
your chance to experience the thrill of
a float plane soaring over breathtaking
panoramas. View the
magnificent brown
bear in his natural habitat,
fish remote
streams. During certain
times of the season, you can experience
the excitement of fishing right along
side of the awe-inspiring animals on
land. Again you will return to the
lodge for an evening of cocktails, tall
tales, and an expertly prepared dinner.
Saturday Day 6
Lace up your hiking
boOts!
After another hearty breakfast, we are
off to
Cooper Landing
for a day of
hiking and fishing.
The time of year, weather, and trail
conditions will determine the trail
system. Tonight might be the night to
have a soak in the hot tub or schedule
an appointment with our message
therapist to revive those tired limbs
after the hard play they have done.
Sunday Day 7 A FOND
FAREWELL!
After a hearty breakfast, it is time to
pack your bags and say good-bye as you
head for the airport and your flight
home. If you are taking your fish home
on the plane, we will stop on the way to
pick up your catch from the processor.
For those having it shipped, this is the
time to let them know where and when to
ship your catch.
We have the flexibility to combine or
exchange any excursions to create your
own
