Whether
you're an experienced angler or novice, you will enjoy
the
fishing action that Alaska Legends offers!
Experience the thrill of fly-in fishing on some of Alaska's
premier waters.
The pinnacle
of every angler’s dreams is to fly into Alaska’s wilderness for
a day of great fishing. Get away from the roads & crowds for a
day of light-tackle fishing in the high mountain lakes or try
for a limit of salmon on a remote stream - all combined with
some spectacular flight-seeing. Many destinations also offer
bear viewing possibilities.

Wolverine
Creek:
This
tiny, clear stream gets an average annual Sockeye return of
70-90 thousand fish, which makes for steady action and fantastic
bear viewing. Coastal brown bear (some with cubs) can be seen
safely at close distances and the mountain scenery is
breathtaking.
Kustatan River:
The Kustatan River is undoubtedly the most productive Silver
Salmon River in the region. Thousands of Salmon are pulled from
its murky glacial waters each summer between the middle of July
and the end of August. If you want to catch fish, this is the
place to go!
Polly, Silver Salmon, and Shelter Creek:
These creeks are clear water streams located at the edge of Lake
Clark Park where fishing is excellent. These three destinations
are excellent fly-fishing streams.
Nushagak River:
No question this river is the best for fishing King Salmon.
This trip is really fun!! We will fly you over Cook Inlet past
two active volcanoes (Mt Redoubt and Mount Illiamna), show you
beautiful glaciers and the Alaska Range Mountains. You will
very likely see lots of wildlife including, Bears, Wolves,
Moose, Caribou, and some of the most beautiful scenery in the
world. You get a flight seeing tour and a fishing trip. This
is a popular day trip for King Salmon Fishing.
