Guided River Fishing Trips
Let our licensed, professional guides take you on
a fishing experience that you won't have to lie about how big
your catch is, fish for King Salmon, Red Salmon, Silver Salmon,
Pink Salmon, and Trophy Rainbow Trout.
The spectacular Kenai River is
world renowned as home to the mighty King Salmon, the undisputed
heavyweight of Salmon. Our experienced guides guide from fully
equipped powerboats on the Lower Kenai River and equally
equipped drift boats on the Upper Kenai and Kasilof Rivers.
Vessels and occupants are fully insured and the guides are
licensed and equipped with trophy proven fishing equipment. We
carry proven rods, reels and tackle for the area, but feel free
to bring your own from home.
Lower Kenai River: The Lower Kenai
River is where the trophy King Salmon is caught. Powerboats are
used to backtroll the river, pulling large plugs on rod and reel
combos large enough to handle the giant fish that travel through
this part of the river. These boats can comfortably handle four
fishermen, a guide, and all the gear necessary for an
action-packed day.
Upper Kenai River:
A magnificent guided drift boat
fishing trip on the best section of the river where you will
fish for red or silver salmon, rainbow trout and se run dolly
varden below numerous eagle nests and past a wide variety of
Alaskan wildlife. The upper Kenai is closed to motors and
only a few guides have permits for the Upper River, allowing you
a day of peaceful fishing.
Kasilof River:
Guided drift boat
fishing for those big king salmon (or in August, silvers) and
even a few dolly varden. The Kasilof River is closed to motors,
so only a few drift boats and some bank anglers get to fish one
of the top producing streams of the Kenai Peninsula.
The time of
year and the local runs will determine the area and species of
fish we go after. Conditions change from day to day, and knowing
what those changes are, can mean the difference between
'catching' and 'fishing'.
