The Mulchatna Caribou Herd with record numbers between 100,000-200,000 animals provides an excellent same-day hunting arena. We offer this spectacular hunt  from January 1st-April 15th with the success ratio being greater than 90%. The best thing about this hunt is the quality of the meat - which is simply delicious. We leave at day break and we're usually home by supper. The hunt package includes flying out the meat of one caribou per hunter, and one rack per hunter.  Your trip may be unguided or guided.  All Nonresident Alien Hunters are required by state law to hunt with a licensed guide. **Nonresident and nonresident alien hunters must buy the appropriate locking tag before hunting a big game animal.  The tag must be locked on the animal immediately after the kill and must remain on the animal until the animal is prepared for storage, consumed, or exported. Bear tags must be locked on the hide.
